The end of the journey - the works hang on the walls of Nirmal School playground

The three panels are just visible from the road.

Certificates were presented to artscape participants in a ceremony at the school in December.

***  Please note this is the final page of our blog.  If you are  interested in following the creative journey undertaken by this group of Delhi children from very different backgrounds read from the first post (7th October 2012) or go to the movie tab for a 100 second video that gives a really good idea of all we did.

Eighth Workshop, Nirmal Primary School, Pandara Road

Everyone worked really hard today and the panels began to take shape. One is a straightforward rendering of Humayun's Tomb with details from Purana Qila in the lower part of the picture and Emperor Humayun tumbling down the stairs, the second panel focuses on the trees and water channels in the tomb gardens and the char bagh design favoured by the Persians and Mughals. In the third panel the 16th century Mughals will meet the ninjas of 16th Century Japan.
